You know what made my day today?
~
Putting on the Madagascar soundtrack and dancing with the kids while they showed me how to "Move it, move it". Their shrills of laughter, their silly dance moves, the pure joy they find in the movement of their bodies and the sound of the beat. It's so freeing and fun. I'm not sure who enjoys it more me or them.

"I want to move it, move it. I want to shake it, shake it"

You do NoT want to see me dance to that, trust me...but the kids on the other hand, they don't realize I have no sense of rhythm what so ever, they just think I'm being funny.

I love dancing with my boys. They are so funny.
Glad you got to "move it, move it!" today. :)
That sounds like me every day at school (and with Aidyn man!). I dance like a maniac! The kids think im the coolest, but the parents walking by who peek in, probably think i'm a little loony! :) (or it just looks like i'm having a seizure!)
Glad you had fun with your boys (and girl!)! :) today!
I am so with you on the movin' it. My 12 year old daughter and I dance to "Don't Turn Out the Light" Enrique.
This is so freaky.....seriously, as I began to read your post, THAT SONG started playing, as the movie is on for Little Man! I kid you not!!! oh wow, that was freaky....
great song though, fun to dance with no matter what!
Dancing and having fun like that with your kids is the best! It doesn't matter if you can dance or sing good enough. Kids don't care. They are just so happy that we have fun with them. I love that song!
My kids love that song, too! Fortunately they are still young enough not to care about my big booty shakin' with them. :)
